Collaborated with filmmaker Naeem Mahmood on the end credit Title Sequence for his new film, Gods of Their Own Religion.
In the early phase of the creative process, Naeem referenced visuals from Fritz Lang’s METROPOLIS, a dystopian, expressionist film. He wanted to play in the creative space of art nouveau abstract patterns, and with visual movements of a kaleidoscope. Naeem described his film as a “fantastical, dark dystopian fairytale” … “Sewn by the treads of reality, memory, and dream-like surrealism.” … “Eternal consciousness… Awakening…”
The music soundtrack composed by Greg Birkumshaw drove the overall pacing of the movements and at the end complimented the mood and tone of the visual graphics.
